Making a Difference

I have spoken to many friends and job candidates recently. It is clear that they are all disappointed and demotivated by their current job environment. Let me be clear: they did not complain about salaries, boring projects or nasty bosses. Let me be clear: they complained because they felt powerless. I know from my own experience that feeling like you are making a difference is a key indicator of workplace happiness.
