At just twelve years old and one month, Dor Geta Popescu climbed Uhuru Peak (5895 meters) in the highest summit on Kibo’s crater rim in Kilimanjaro Mountains. This success make her the youngest Romanian to ever climb this peak.
Humor was a way of rebellion and survival at the same time. An escape of the mind and soul, a way of coping with all those absurd and restrictions imposed by a communist regime who did not care about its own people.
There’s no doubt in my mind that”Give & Take” by Adam Grant is one of the best books I’ve read last year. It’s the kind of book anyone paying attention to its own personal development should read. Reading this book, reconfirmed me the old saying that “what goes around comes around”.
