Your Main Role

As the Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind our brand’s visibility, identity, and business growth. This role blends engaging storytelling, brand building, digital expertise, performance-driven thinking, and strategic leadership.

For 25 years, the company has been committed to transforming houses into comfortable and stylish homes by offering customizable, affordable furniture. Our journey has been guided by a balance between quality and price, creativity and customer-centricity. These values have helped us become a key supplier for furniture retailers across Romania and Europe. Now, we’re ready to go even further.

We are searching for a visionary, self-driven Marketing Manager who can elevate the brand to the next level and help us grow the business. That means:

  • Positioning the brand as the top-of-mind choice for high-quality, affordable furniture.
  • Ensuring our products reach households across Romania.
  • You will craft and execute marketing strategies that deliver on these objectives, contributing proactively to overall business growth. You will also design and implement integrated marketing initiatives across physical and digital channels, ensuring a seamless, consistent, customer experience.

This role requires both creative flair and strategic business acumen — someone who can merge storytelling with data-driven decision making and growth KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of the Marketing Manager

BRAND STRATEGY & POSITIONING

  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned with the brand vision and its sub-brands.
    Build and strengthen brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency in tone of voice, visuals, and messaging.
  • Gather customer insights, develop customer profiles, and measure performance against goals.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitors to identify opportunities for brand growth and execute high-impact campaigns.
  • Develop initiatives that attract new customers and partnerships (mass media, film, fashion industries, etc.).

CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT

  • Plan and execute campaigns, events, exhibitions, product launches, and partnership-driven experiences.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, agencies, and suppliers to produce compelling content (visual, written, video, etc.).
  • Oversee digital advertising, influencer partnerships, and PR initiatives to maximize brand visibility and drive sales online and offline.

CONTENT CREATION & DEVELOPMENT

  • Coordinate the development of all marketing materials from concept to production and distribution (photo/video content, catalogs, brochures, in-store materials, POSM, OOH, social media content, banners, digital ads, etc.).
  • Inspire and create engaging content such as behind-the-scenes materials, blog articles, and newsletters.
  • Build relationships with media, influencers, and industry professionals to strengthen brand reputation and foster strategic partnerships.

ONLINE SHOP

  • Develop and implement the e-commerce strategy for prestigehome.ro, focusing on activities that boost online sales.
  • Set goals and define KPIs for the e-commerce channel.
  • Optimize website performance, SEO, user experience, and digital advertising for maximum ROI.
  • Oversee social media presence (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) with storytelling-driven content.
  • Supervise internal and external teams (IT, product development, commercial teams, and platform suppliers) to ensure seamless e-commerce operations.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements.
  • Manage the e-commerce budget and track all related expenses.

360 DEGREE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & CRM

  • Ensure customers experience consistent, meaningful interactions across all digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Optimize the customer journey using personalization, segmentation, and loyalty strategies.
  • Develop and implement CRM initiatives that improve engagement and retention using data-driven insights.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards and help address customer feedback or complaints.

LEADERSHIP

  • Contribute to the development of new retail concepts for Prestige Home stores.
  • Support management in key business decisions by providing consumer insights and market intelligence.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, agencies, and creative collaborators.
  • Propose new product ranges based on global and local trends; provide pricing strategy recommendations where needed.
  • Articulate a clear vision, provide constructive feedback, and guide team members toward performance excellence.
  • Make timely, informed decisions under pressure; resolve challenges calmly and efficiently.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, empowering team members while providing guidance and support.
  • Motivate and mentor team members to grow professionally and improve performance.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability.

REPORTING & FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget (quarterly and annual), ensuring efficient allocation of funds.
  • Measure, monitor, and report on all marketing KPIs and campaign performance.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Track and improve ROI across all marketing channels.
  • Manage resources effectively to maximize marketing performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Below are the key qualifications and skills essential for success in this position.

  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or Business.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or brand management, preferably in retail or within a full-service agency.
  • Strong digital expertise, including e-commerce and customer journey mapping.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of online marketing trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, leadership, and project-management skills.
  • Proficiency in customer segmentation, Google Analytics, CRM tools, and marketing KPIs.
  • Strong numerical literacy; comfortable working with data, metrics, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

We consider to be a plus …

  • Solid understanding of customer expectations and the furniture market; proven experience managing diverse B2C & B2B audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering performance-driven online and social media campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
